Whether you're a competative athlete or a "weekend warrior", an injury or pain can take you out of the game. At Fairway Physical Therapy, we use our knowledge, skills and experience along with Kineseo Taping to get you back into your game.


What is Kineseo Taping?

The Kineseo Tape technique uses a highly specifically designed flexible tape that allows full range of motion. This latex free product make is hypo-allergenic and safe to use from the pediatric to geriatic populations. The tape can be worn up to 3-5 days due to its water resistance quality therefore allowing patients to receive theraputic benefit for up to five days after leaving the clinic.

Used for virtually all clinical conditions, Kineseo Tape is extremely versatile in its ability to re-educate the neuromuscular system, promote lymphatic flow, reduce pain, enhance performance, prevent injury and promote injury prevention.

This taping method is gaining popularity and is being used by professional athletes and sports teams of all skill levels.

Kineseo Tape has the ability to:

• Improve contraction of a weakened muscle • Help mobilize scar tissue
• Reduce overstretching and over contraction of muscles • Reeducate muscles
• Minimize post traumatic or post surgical bruising • Lessen edema (swelling)
• Reduce muscle fatigue and spasm • Help correct joint mechanics
• Promote good circulation and healing • Relieve pain

When is Kineseo Taping Used?

Kineseo Taping is used for virtually anything from headaches to foot problems. For instance; Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), Low Back Pain (LBP), herniated discs, knee conditions such as patellofemoral pain, knee instability, runner's knee, jumper's knee, patellar tracking, ACL injury, shoulder conditions such as rotator cuff injury, shoulder instability, impingement, hamstrings and quadriceps muscle injury.

Kineseo Taping is also used for cases of whiplash, tennis elbow, Plantar Fasciitis, pre and post surgical edema, ankle sprains, pregnancy related conditions including reduced lymph flow, decreased circulation, abdominal and low back muscle strain, ilio-sacral problems, postural support & correction, and as an injury prevention method or performance enhancement method for athletes.

Kineseo Taping is best used as an adjunct to physical therapy and exercise. It can dramatically speed up the rehabilitation process by lessening pain and improving tolerance to exercise.
